Cottage 1 is a beautiful one bedroom cottage bursting with rustic charm. The cottage has an upside down layout to take advantage of the beautiful countryside views.
Inside the cottage:
Entrance Hall - Downstairs you enter the cottage into a spacious entrance hall with coat hooks and plenty of space for boots. (Thermostat for heating)
Bathroom - Leading off the hall way is a beautiful period bathroom with a large double ended roll top bath and white suite. The bath has a hand held shower. (Towels and bath mat can be supplied if required).
Bedroom – There is a beautiful and spacious rustic bedroom with tiled floors, beamed ceilings and West facing french doors/windows leading outside. With lovely views of the grounds it is a stunning room. The bedroom has a king size four poster bed. (wardrobe, dressing table, chair, mirror, bed side tables and large chest of drawers. (bed linen, small ironing board, iron and hair dryer can be supplied if required).
Upstairs – the cottage is open plan with vaulted, beamed ceilings, oak flooring and full height triple aspect windows leading out onto a South facing balcony.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is very spacious for a 1 bedroom cottage, but still has a cosy feel.
The lounge area has two double leather sofas, coffee table, TV unit (TV (freeSat and soft furnishings can be supplied if required).
The Kitchen area is fully equipped with plenty of cupboards, electric oven, 4 ring electric hob, fridge (with small freezer section), toaster, kettle, microwave and dishwasher.
The Dining area has a large marble dining table with 4 dining chairs.
The South facing balcony is accessed via the French doors and has a table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
Electricity, oil fired central heating and water are shared with the other properties and are included in the final agreed rental price.
There is 1 car parking space for this cottage (just outside the courtyard on a hardstanding area). Spaces are numbered, but location may change and is up to the landlord to decide. There is space for a visitors vehicle depending on size of vehicles. If you have 2 cars there will be no visitor parking and parking is not permitted on the grounds or anywhere on the driveway or track. Alternative parking must be arranged.
Broadband and Phone is up to the tenant to arrange and pay for (fibre is available and the tenant can arrange installation, at their own cost, if required)
TV licence is up to the tenant to arrange and pay for.
Council tax is up to the tenant to arrange and pay for.
Personal contents insurance is up to the tenant to arrange and pay for.
Mobile signal is low, Vodafone is the strongest, but most tenants find they get service on or near the balcony area.
No smoking, vaping, pets or children.
Owners live on site.
