Mole Country Stores, Romsey - Next to Waitrose you will find Mole Country stores.  Sells country clothing, wellies and pet supplies.

A little further afield you will find the stunning Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury.

Winchester- Just 20 minutes away is the beautiful cathedral city, small enough to walk around and enjoy all it has to offer.  Great choice of places to eat and drink.  Good mix of independent and high street shops.  Stunning cathedral and river.  Parking can be busy the later you leave it.  Suggest parking near the train station or leisure centre and walking in (only 5 minutes).  Leisure centre, swimming pool, everyman cinema, There is a Waitrose and Aldi just before you go into Winchester and a Tesco and Pets at Home just the other side.  Very good Farmers market every 2nd and last Sunday of the month and a brilliant Christmas market held in the grounds of the cathedral in December.

Salisbury- Just 30 minutes away you cross to the neighbouring country of Wiltshire and the stunning cathedral city of Salisbury.  It is larger than Winchester, but still small enough to walk around and enjoy the many good places to eat, drink and visit.  Good choice of shops.  Again parking is easier the earlier you get there.

Gunwhaf Quays, Portsmouth - There is a very good retail outlet in Portsmouth (only 40 minutes away).  Lovely relaxed location on the harbour front (watch the boats or go on a boat trip).  Large car park.  Good choice of shops and restaurants as well as a large cinema and the spinnaker Tower

West Quays, Southampton - Southampton is only 25 minutes with a large town and shopping centre.
